I have been so anxious for the Fall count down banner to finally show....7 days until Fall, as that is the official Fall Equinox. Well, ok ok... I know *smirk* it is September 14th, so "technically" we have another day! But it is September 15th somewhere in the world...and it's my blog, so I'll just go with that *s*
I wanted to bring in my favorite time of year with a bit of cheer and a GIVE-A-WAY for all my wonderful bloggie friends who are following me and have been so kind in leaving me comments!! Just my small way to say THANK YOU so very much for visiting, bringing me warm smiles, as each and everyone of you sweet friends are so appreciated!!
So, what better way to kick off the Fall decorating then with a few 'scrows 'n pumpkins?? This give-a-way includes three whimsical scrows, with their own sweet expressions and two pumpkins.
All you have to do, is be a follower, even if brand spankin' new *wink* and leave me a comment on what is your favorite Autumn handmade. It does not matter whether it is primitive, jewelry, soap (have seen some fabulous Fall decor soap on Etsy believe it or not!!), or even clothing...just as long as it is handmade and related to Fall!
There's a reason to my requirement that it be handmade, whether created by you... or friend or family or anyone. I want to help in supporting and promoting Handmade in the USA.
I will number all comments and draw the winning number. Comment as often as you like on my posts between now and September 15th, as each comment means another chance at winning!! On September 15th, I will draw a winning number and will announce it on my blog. Autumn/fall is my favorite season. I love everything about it, especially the smells and colors. Sadly in So. California we don't get much of it - just a taste. But that small 'nibble' has me hooked on this season!
I'm also an artist, handmade comes from the heart - and have stuffed pumpkins EVERYWHERE - it is my favorite decoration for autumn - you can never have enough. Especially when the pumpkins have brilliant colorful leaves and stems - it brings so much warmth to any room they are in.
OH, OH...I would love to win those cuties:) My favorite fall craft is probably the caramel apple candles I make, they are always a big hit AND...I'm getting ready to do a giveaway too that will include one, so make sure to sign up:)
Dearie, I'm too dense to follow the contest rules...so I'll just say "hi" and say I love all yer handmade items. I love to prop decorative cloth items up all over the house fer autumn!

I'd have to say I'm a bit partial to my painted muslin fall leaves. I've painted up a bunch and have them scattered about my fall decor!

What a wonderful idea Annie, scattering leaves amongst your fall decor. THOSE leaves are a lot easier to 'rake' up too!

Hi Annie! This is my first visit to your blog and I LOVE it!! My fav FAll decor item is a prim style pen and ink primitive painting I did when I lived in OH. I treasure it because it was my first attempt with pen and ink and the frame was made by my art teacher's husband, who later lost his battle with cancer. I soo loved the time shared with others in that little country/prim store. Another fav is the homemade baked goodies that I don't need! LOL

I've been making a ton of pumpkins and mice so I guess 'this year' those are my favorite Fall decorations. Last year it was witches hats and crows, so next year it may be something totally different, lol.

What a wonderful giveaway! I just found your blog and I love it! I'm going to add you to my favorites if that's okay...and I just added myself as a follower! I love fall...it's my favorite time of year. I love crafting and have stuffed pumpkins all over. I also make Halloween and fall houses that sit at various spots in my house! I'm really into decorating outside with pumpkins, gourds and cornstalks!

Hi Lex, what a great way to start the fall season. Love, Love, Love this giveaway!!! Fall is my favorite time of year and although I'm a big collector of pumpkins (I leave them up all year long) my favorite handmade item this year are the candy apples that I made!!! They look good enough to eat. A great big thank you for finding the pattern for me!! You're the best!!! Thank you for all the help and especially for promoting all us crafters on your blog.
